Ashleigh Fisk is a multimedia visual artist exploring the body. Working primarily with sculpture, performance and photography her surrealist work playfully comments on physicality, experience and the boundaries of the body while raising questions of censorship and representation particularly of the female body through art history.

A primary interest of Fisk’s practice is the relationship between the artwork and the viewer; deliberately confronting the viewer in an attempt to induce a hyperconsciousness of their own body.
