Asa Houston-Black

Asa (they/them) is an interdisciplinary artist and massage therapist based in London. They use ceramics and handpoke tattoo to explore the body’s relationship to time, place, and folklore. They’re preoccupied with the fens, its lands, stories and history. They practice massage as a form of community care, and as a somatic way of imagining non-capitalist ways of being.

Asa will undergo their residency in the summer of 2022.
